4th Fischer Memorial was won by Indian 12 years old Praggnanandhaa with 7/9 while in 4th Capablanca Memorial the winner was German Poetsch Hagen with 6,5/9. Another round robin GM norm tournament has been concluded with lot of success in the excellent facilites of  Galaxy Hotel. Valery Sviridov from Russia was the 1st winner & Ivan Martic from Serbia achieved his 1st IM norm.

On April it was George Goumas who achieved an IM norm while on September in Anogia, Anton Smirnov received his 3rd grandmaster norm, Antoine Favarel his third norm on international master and Nikos Georgakopoulos his 2nd IM norm. On 2018 we continue with 6 Round Robin Tournaments for GM/IM norm.

Due to heavy working schedule Sotiris Logothetis won’t be able to participate in IM Norm Capablanca Memorial and he will be replaced by Haralambos Tsakiris. Pairings and schedule remain exactly the same and the only change is the replacement of Logothetis by Tsakiris.
